Hutchinson, Kansas

First laid out by C. C. Hutchinson[1] on October 22nd, 1871. According to the article, he arrived at the Tefft House on October 21st to state that Hutchinson will be surveyed for settlers in roughly 10 days, by October 31st. Located on Cow Creek and intersected by the A. T. & S. F. Railroad on the Arkansas river, in township 23, range 6.
