  • January 22nd, 1876 - H. L. Ball told the Hutchinson News that Kingman has built a courthouse for $1,000 in scrip, and that the county has no bonded debt.[1]
  • February 3rd, 1876 - The house of the state has introduced House Bill 149 to disorganize Kingman County and other counties, for the reason of fraud.[2]
  • June 7th, 1876 - C. P. Crocker has sued the Board of Commissioners of Kingman for a reason not stated in the paper. [Find reason][3]
  • June 8th, 1876 - A new town is going to be laid out in Kingman County near Smoot ("Smooch?") Creek near the geographical center of the county.[4]
