He was the former judge of the 9th Judicial District, mentioned by The Mercury on June 14th, 1878.[1] He may have been mentioned as having made an addition in Kingman during the week of June 14th, 1878, but the name was only mentioned as "Brown".[2]

In his addition, a hotel was to be built 32x40, 2 stories, with a store-room, office, etc., on the first floor.[3]
