He was appointed justice of the peace for Kingman County during the week of June 14th, 1878.[1] He was also mentioned as "getting up a menagerie. Prairie dogs, squirrels and such."[2] He received a letter from Mr. Craycraft, who is "negotiating for the machinery for the mill soon to be built at [Kingman]."
